Fiat S.p.A. (oorspronkelijk FIAT, een acroniem dat staat voor Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino) was een Italiaans industrieel concern en autofabrikant. De Fiat Group heeft belangen in diensten, uitgeverijen en het bouwen van machines voor massaproductie.
Op 1 augustus 2014 keurden de Fiat aandeelhouders de fusieplannen met Chrysler goed. Fiat gaat onder de naam Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) verder. Het fusiebedrijf krijgt zijn hoofdkantoor in Londen en krijgt onder de nieuwe naam beursnoteringen in Milaan en New York. In Nederland krijgt Fiat alleen een juridische vestiging. Bron: Wikipedia.
